FOX Sports Network's National Sports Report. Each of the numerous
video screens in the set can be either live, on tape, or looping video.
In this case, the simulated (entirely virtual) plasma screen and some of
the other screens are displaying the FOX Sports Net logo. |

the desk and anchors to become an integrated part of the virtual set. |

The camera view of the anchor on the right. As the camera zooms,
the background gradually defocuses. This interactive, real-time defocus
of the background greatly enhances the realism of the scene. |

the background can display any video or graphic source.
The cityscape scene on camera left can be customized to portray the
city, time of day, and even weather conditions desired.
